As a new patient to our dental clinic we recommend that you arrive 10 minutes early to your first appointment. This ensures you have time to relax before you meet your dentist and can complete our new patient history paperwork.

If you have significant dental fears or anxiety about going to the dentist, then we also offer conscious sedation dentistry, so ask us about this when you arrive. If you opt for sedation, then you'll be awake and in control throughout treatment, but won't feel anxious.

We also provide a welcome pack, which gives you a better understanding of oral hygiene.

At Mandurah Dental Surgery, we like to start by getting to know you and finding out what’s important to you, so we can create your personalised treatment plan. In our comprehensive appointment we’ll therefore discuss your medical and dental history, along with your main dental concerns and reason for contacting us. We’ll also discuss your individual dental goals..

During this initial consultation we essentially gather information and present our findings, using images to illustrate these, and may also discuss treatment options. Alternatively, if the case and findings are more complex, and we need more time to present, then we may ask you to return.
