As well as routine teeth cleans, we also provide deep cleanings for your teeth and gums at Mandurah Dental Surgery. During a deep clean, the dentist will numb your mouth and scale around each root surface, removing disease-causing bacteria. This allows the gums to tighten around the teeth again and ultimately helps to prevent tooth loss.

If there’s extremely heavy build-up of tartar around your teeth, then they may feel more mobile afterwards. However, it’s important to remove any build-up, as failing to address the issue will lead to more rapid bone and tooth loss.

What happens after your deep teeth cleaning session?
